I made this lo to remember all of the hard work

I put into making my son's birthday as special as it could be!

I had a superhero birthday party for him, complete with a superhero training course, a superhero, a letter to invite them to training camp and a cape made in their fav colors with their initial on the back. They also received a certificate of completion along with

their personalized capes.

I used Made with Love by Lisete Scrap

This is the invitation that I made for his birthday party. I tried to make it look like a comic book. I took the photos on my stairs and had him pose as if he was shooting me with a spider web. I processed it through PS7 to get a look that I liked.

I used a photo of Isaiah and Crash Boomm Pow by Armina Designs (some things were altered for color)

In everyone's thank you's I like to send a little memento of the days festivities. Last year it was a little wanted poster to go with his pony party. This year was a news paper. I thought that it was only fitting.

I used Party photos and each child got one that featured themselves.

I used a template by Tangie Baxter-Cu Newspaper template. I can't find it in her store I'm not sure if It's included in her kit,

It's summer and we've been uber busy. My son, Isaiah still goes to preschool, I work and we try to have as much fun as we can. One of the things we like to do is play games. I just love this new kit by Lisete Scrap and Alenga Designs called Game night!! If you have a game night you'll have to grab this kit. I love having a page that reminds us of how much fun we had as a family!

I altered the 'slides' color and shape to replicate the board.

Well first off, Happy St. Patrick's Day! We are indeed Irish and to celebrate the festivities, we are having mostly green food toady. And hopefully a little craft. To celebrate here's my St. Patrick's Day Page. The template was from Photo Cowgirl. I LOVE her templates, they make me do stuff I otherwise wouldn't be doing. After a while, I'm hoping some of it wears off into my style.

SS and Chitter chatter

First some chitter chatter, since it is 6:30Am and I am awake after only sleeping for 2hrs, I figured I would finally update this thing (explains why this is being updated). It really is a job and it seems as though I should get paid for it lol. It's a Sunday morning and I have yet to do the bulletin. You can see where my priorities lie. It's been windy and rainy here for awhile but at least the last of the snow is melting and Corey can finally see his bike.

This week is St. Patrick's Day and I have a whole menu planned. Breakfast shall start with Green eggs and pancakes. My husband insists we need ham lol. Lunch, I was thinking ham with green mac and cheese and green mashed potatoes. And for supper, a 'real' Irish and dumpling stew.

I've been inspired to cook and clean more since joining Jen Grahams two new groups on facebook; #speedclean and What's for dinner? Makes cleaning actually fun =)

And now for a few pages I've made over the past 2 weeks. They are ones that I didn't have to make for any kind of requirement and therefore better showcase who I am.

This is my beautiful Niece Gabby from Valentines 2009. She's so precious. Did I mention, she's going to be a Big sis? Her mommy, Michelle is expecting 3 days before Isaiah's birthday. Should make for an interesting party. Not that I'm complaining but something else to do in Oct! Jeeish! I'm sure October will be filling up even sooner now. 8th-Dad and Grace, 25th-Baby Butz, 28th-Isaiah. Not to mention, Fall festivities, Halloween and some anniversaries.

Sorry So off track here. So this was a SS (shocker I know), at Digi Scrap and Dive with Mandy Mane. I used Digi Design Resorts Feb Collab kit. With Love always. I got it for FREE for only doing 6 challenges!!!! Works for me. Now I'm working towards some eye candy at Scrappity Doo Dah.

Check out these awesome templates from Photo Cowgirl. Anyone can make a great page, even me! They are called Like 'Em Big. I love how the photo is the main focus. Kind of brings me back to what real scrapbooking is all about. Not just making a pretty page to sell but securing memories.

On this template I used Jeanette Bollinger's Piggy Panic. It's a great kit for sicknesses and that dreaded Swine flu. The flowers and leaves are from Jeanette's All the Elements.
This one is of my son playing in the mud this past summer at a Youth retreat.
I used A+ Designs-Puddle Jumping and Mandy Mystique's-A Nature Walk. The hand print from A Nature walk was altered.

This is my cousin at her wedding June 2005. I took the photos. I used a kit by Graham Like the Cracker called Letters to Juliet. The greens were from Jeanette Bollinger's-All the Elements kit. This is one the BEST Christian kit I've ever seen! I am with you (click the preview I keep getting an error)

This is Isaiah and myself at his dedication when he was 2 months old.

My father in law took this photo of Isaiah. The pastor was praying over him with his hand on his head and still one of my most favorite photos! He captured the essence and sweetness of Isaiah. If you ever have the joy of meeting him, Sweetness just rolls off of him. Oh and the 'journaling' is a prayer that is on my bathroom wall that I try and pray every day for him. It's all taking my meager effort to bless my family, to make up for my wrong doings and protect and be there for him.Here the pages are together. Corey specifically requested they be together =)

One of my friends needed Senior pictures done of her son and I volunteered. They liked almost 20 DIFFERENT poses. I will spare you and only post a few of my favs. Keep in mind that He's not a model and I'm not a professional photographer. Oh and they are un-edited.

Ok this one was edited. It's a bit too light because our wall mart pints things dark and they wanted a sheet of proofs. My friend Amanda suggested doing this with the name in Graffiti. I had to try it.

My Spiritual Wall-Self Portrait

Some of you might remember the wall that I did awhile back, asking for advice on how to make it look like the bricks were broken. Well I finally finished it. Ok well, finished is not quite the word but I need it for tonight's Celebrate Recovery to give my testimony. Let's all pray that I don't get sick.
I've had this in my head for about 7 yrs and the thought of drawing each and every brick seemed daunting. When I saw Bricks in the ESS store, I HAD to buy them. It felt so good to get it all out there and in a way to see my progress. It's been a long journey.

I'm not satisfied with the pile of bricks. If anyone has ANY suggestions, please fire away.
I still need to more QC on it but, for the most part it's done. Hope it touches somebody.
